Island Installation & Layout Re-work

The previous layout felt cramped and disconnected. We reconfigured the footprint to introduce a generous center island with an overhang for seating, integrated storage, and a built-in prep sink.

Custom Cabinetry & Hardware

High-quality cabinets with soft-close hinges and premium hardware bring durability and visual appeal. Specialty units, a pull-out pantry and appliance garage, add real usability.

Countertops & Backsplash

Island and counter materials were selected for low-maintenance surfaces and luminous tones. A full-height backsplash adds texture and subtle movement to the wall. See our countertop replacement work for more.

Flooring Upgrade

Water-resistant flooring spans the space for continuity into adjacent rooms, stylish and practical for a Colorado kitchen's demands.

Lighting & Fixtures

Under-cabinet LED lighting illuminates work zones, while pendant lights over the island create an architectural focal point. New fixtures tie the aesthetic together.

Finishing Touches

A neutral palette sets the tone throughout. Cabinet interiors include organizational systems that cut down on clutter. Hardware finishes soften the modern lines and bring warmth to the space.

Design & Functional Benefits

This remodel involved demolition, new cabinetry, island installation, updated lighting, and flooring replacement. The homeowner wanted a space that felt open, inviting, and purposeful, where everyday meals and casual entertaining could happen in the same room without the layout fighting them. Tim and his crew worked closely with the homeowner to settle on a footprint that maximizes storage and flow without sacrificing the finishes that make a kitchen worth spending time in.

Ergonomics & Design

What Sets This Remodel Apart

Thoughtful ergonomics and layered design. With the new layout, the homeowner has direct access between fridge, sink, and range, the classic work triangle, plus a dedicated island workspace that doubles as casual dining seating. Materials were chosen for durability in an active household and for ease of maintenance. The elevated aesthetic doesn't sacrifice practicality. That's the balance this project hit. Remodel Pro Colorado brings 17 years of kitchen remodeling experience across the Denver and Front Range area. From initial concept through final finish, the process is transparent. No surprises on scope, no surprises on price. If you're planning a kitchen update in Arvada, Lakewood, Denver, or the surrounding area, this project gives you a realistic look at what's possible.
